About the Foundation
For many years, Tim Pasch has been a committed advocate for numerous local and national charities. In light of that commitment, he has established the Timothy F. Pasch Family Foundation to focus on one main objective helping families with an emphasis on childrens needs.
Through an extensive search process, the Foundation has selected three groups whose programs and special initiatives complement its mission. These groups are:
Big Brothers Big Sisters
Their S.M.A.R.T. mentoring program has successfully paired high school and elementary students in a school setting to improve learning in nine York County districts. Funding is needed to expand the program into seven more.
The Lehman Center
Zoning regulations have required this subsidiary of Childrens Aid Society, which provides services to at-risk children, to replace their sidewalks at a cost of more than $10,000.
Their Kids Under Construction program helps to educate children who have a family member with cancer on the disease and its treatment. In addition to counseling and therapies, they want to provide monthly outings in the Summer to children whose families are unable to take a vacation or trip due to the disease and treatment.
The criteria reviewed by the Foundation included budgets, overhead spending, services offered, and mission statements. The progress of these groups will be monitored throughout the year, and programs will be evaluated for how they align with the goals of the Foundation.
In addition to the support of the programs and activities of these groups, the Foundation has been active in supporting other events and organizations with whom staff members have affiliations, such as the York board and annual golf outing for The Second Mile, assisting the March of Dimes in relocating their York office, and raising funds for the Multiple Sclerosis Association, for whom Tim Pasch serves as a member of the leadership committee.
We invite you to join us in these efforts with your valuable contributions of time, talent, and financial resources. Together, with our support of these groups, we can build a better future for all families.
